anyone want green tint 'plastic' windows?

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

hi guys,
finding it hard/neigh impossible to get green tint plastic windows for the race car. Phil Hall on here can get the plastic required to produce them but the only problem is there is a minimum order on the sheeting used.
basically we would need to get quite a few people together all wanting green tint plastics to cover off getting the quantity of material needed.
would anyone be interested in green tint plastics? as far as i am aware phil can copy any flat 2d shape and can get all the plastics cut on a proper router table. basically mk1, mk2, mk3 and mk4 platforms should be doable.
thoughts?

Hi,
I'd be very interested in this.
It would be for a mk3 polo but I could supply drawings of the shapes and sizes I need. I was planning to buy a few sheets and get busy with the jigsaw but if he can
cut them to shape for not much money then that's cool. Otherwise, I could still just order enough sheet to cut out what I want myself.
I don't get chance to come on here much these days (ever since I can't spend all day on the Internet at work) so if you could send me an email when something happens, I'd really appreciate it. I'll check on this thread when I can.
cheers,
Paul.

Hi folks, firstly pol, sorry for not replying to your PM before now I've been busy with the car all weekend.
I've been looking into this for a while now and I can source the material easily in clear (Lexan Excel D UV polycarbonate) as used by P4P. As said I have a fabricator lined up with a flatbed and theroetically I can supply flat or gently curved windows for any cars subject to templates or supplied measurements.
The only thing Im still looking into is a definate price from the fabricator ( I want to get things in writing before I can determine a fair cost). Also I need to find out what my minimum order quantities are for alternatives to clear, ie Bronze tint, green, grey tint etc...
Sliders are also an issue, I'm reading up on the best method of making them so they don't rattle etc and open/close freely while still being held secure. I would be more comfortable supplying additional material for people to decide on the placement and size of their own.
The company I work for have no problem in supplying me the clear with no min qty but we dont carry stocks of all the finishes available therefore if I need to bring in a half ton of material from the Netherlands if I want grey tint etc, it may prove to be too costly. At the end of the day thats how other companies appear to be doing it with members who have order windows and are still waiting to hear months later.
I'll be speaking to people about my issues this week and will hopefully have more answers and a final cost. In the meantime if you would be interested add your name to the thread or speak to pol or myself. I know pol has his heart set on green tint and wants to supply me with the templates as his windows are more bespoke.

I might be interested in some for the mk1 even if i have to cut my own if the price is good.
