Mk2 front speakers

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

One of mine has blown and it's driving me nuts.

Rather than drive 20 miles to the scrappy and come back with one that's probably blown anyway, do either GSF or ECP sell them? If so, how much and how easy to replace? (can't seem to get the cover off)

TIA

Do you mean to front 'dash' speakers or door speakers?
To get the fronts off, i needed a 90* angled possie screwdriver.
Then I only spent £25 on ebay to get some 2nd hand JBL's!
But otherwise scrappy is the best way forward, unless someone here is kind enough to send you one cheap!

gutted, i went to halfords and got some new JBL's for £20 a while back (and they're awful i must say)
i wouldnt bother getting another standard mk2 dash speaker, just get something better!
as for getting them out, as above you need a 90* screwdriver, i find the best thingto use is one of them cheap ones you get in xmas crackers, and bend it your liking

You're lucky! I've seen halfords selling their ex-display small JBL's for £40!
Thats a good idea bending the screwdriver!

Bruce got the speaker out, with the help of a screwdriver bit and socket set. They're not exactly easy to get out, are they?

I'm seeing Rich about the speakers. I don't want to waste a journey to Derby and there's no telling that those I'd find in the scrappy would work.

What are JBLs?
A:

JBL are just a company that manufacture speakers.
