Right wired up a sub/amp to my mates Ford Escort (RS Turbo S2 shape) but I can't get it working.
Sub works, as it came out of my car and we connected it back to mine, and it ran fine. I've connected the wires properly as per my other cars, but we can't get the amp working.
Got the usual 'RED' cable from battery and 'Black' to ground.
I've also scratched the paint off both ground points on the rear 'grounding point' where the lights ground to and also under the bonnet for better connection.
However......No power light comes on! The remote lead should be fine, but really am struggling to work out what is wrong!
Any ideas where to start? I'm soo puzzled as its wired up correctly to my knowledge and the amp works!

Have you checked the fuses ??

Fuses are good too, swapped them around with some fresh ones.
Really puzzled! Giving it another bosh!
