A&Q about 350Z
Q:
anyone familiar with the band.
way before my time but really like there stuff.
around in the 60's and 70's and toured and performed with bob dylan.
lead by robby robbertson, with rick danko on the bass who was awesome and now dead unfortunately and levon helm on drums. there were others that i cant remember the names of, oh garth hudson was another.
they all sang together on alot of the tracks. if you like their stuff or that era of music you really must get a copy of "the last waltz" on dvd. there final concert was recorded and turned into a film documentry about the band by martin scorecesse, it rocks.
anyway ive just learnt "makes no difference" on the guitar and i'm well chuffed with me sen
check them out.

i like em
A:
cool, have you seen the last waltz?
its awesome has evry artist performing who was any good from that era, well not all but loads.
A:
Yup me too, last waltz is a funny docu/movie, have got a few of their albums and the last waltz boxset I think his solo is better than claptons too, in one of the songs they play together on, also not very often you see a drummer singing aswell

ye robertson whooped claptons ass there, did you notice how claptons shoulder strap snapped/unclipped and he nearly dropped the guitar, he shouts robby and robertson jumps straight in with an amazing riff in perfect timing. i loved that, its what made me learn the guitar.
i'l see if i can find a clip of that moment.
A:
got it, its at 56 seconds into this video.
he was really on the ball then,
and his playing at around 2.50 into vid is just awesome.
A:

I like them and 'The last waltz' is very good indeed. Me, my brother and his mate learnt to play 'The weight' for a little gig a while back, two guitars and bass but our harmonies aren't great...
That YouTube clip is ace by the way
