Came to fit my Koni T/A's today with my PI springs.
Fronts went on no problem, but the rears have caused me headaches!
Dropped both rear shox off the car and took them to bits as i was going to re-use the top mounts and needed the top spring cup and nuts etc...
Came to bolt them together and nothing fits
The top spring cup is much larger than the top of my PI springs, so that doesn't fit.
The thread size of the Koni damper rod is much larger, so it won't pass through the sus cup hole, it also won't fit through the metal coller thats part of the top mount. And of course the nuts don't fit....
Where can i get the bits i need from? Car looks a bit dragstar now!

you sure theyre the right dampers...i have konis and they fitted up with the original bits n bobs

Yeah, they gotta be right. Came off a Mk2 16v.

I had koni TA with eibach springs and did'nt have a problem ? everything swapped over. If they were on a mk2 16v can you ask the guy that had them fitted before to see what the differnce is.
