mk2 gti suspension standard or uprated

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Right,I have a 91 mk2 8v that has been seriously lowered, too low in my opinion especially for the worst roads in Britain where I live.At the moment it has boge turbo's/jamex -60mm springs that far are too harsh ie deed.
So want to change the setup, can you still get genuine VW standard 16valve suspension or should I go the uprated route? Whats the best comprimise comfort and handling wise do
you think? Bilstein/eibach, Boge/eibach, gaz/eibach etc etc.
cheers guys, could do with you expert knowledge, Paul.

If you don't fancy/can't afford coilovers, I think the general consensus on here from other posts is:
Koni Shocks
Eibach Pro springs (-35/40mm)
I've ran (cheaper) Bilstein gas shocks and Eibach Pro springs and was very happy with the results
If you want a more standard ride height you could go for the standard Eibach springs, which are -20mm if I recall correctly
have a search on here, there have been loads of threads

I've got sachs advantage shocks & boge springs on mine gives about a -40 drop and looks great without being impractical

I've got Boge Turbo gas shocks and H&R springs. I've been having a nightmare with the rear springs recently on account of them beaing really hard and low, although I'm starting to suspect that the wrongs ones were shipped... Having said that, the front end is great and handles really well.
If I had unlimited funds, I'd use VAG parts throughout, but thats just becsue I'm a bogo-standard geek
