Hi, would like to know if Audi GT caliper carriers fit mk1 golf for a brake upgrade to 256mm?

Maybe! check the spacing, you want 76mm betwwen the carrier bolt holes IIRC, look at the FAO section.

I'm pretty sure it is the audi coupe GT from about 87 ish the square one that fit a mk1 and allow you to use 256 discs.
