Second Thread for me
I have just bought at Mk3 R-reg 8Valver but I am looking into changing the suspension as I am not satisfied with the road handling. Is this something I could do myself? and if so and if not so, what are the best suspension kits available out there and what does it involve with regards to equipment I will need to do the job or would it be better for me to take it to a garage? Ifso what is the best one in the Croydon area

Hi mate,
You will need spring compressors over and above your usual tools, it can be an **** of a job as the suspension fixings get quite embedded after 10 years of use. For the sake of £100 fitting, probably best to get it done at a garage.
As for which one, I have no opinion or knowledge about a particular mate, I am sure if you do a search you will get plenty of views.

Thank you very much, probably take it to a garage to fit. Still investigating to which ones. Just bought VW Performance so will look in there
