A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I am looking to change the suspension on my 16v mk2 and saw the gaz range, just though id ask and see if any one was useing them and what they though?
A:
my brother uses them on his race car there very harsh even on softest settings
A:
I use 'em on the road. not harsh at all on low settings - pretty much match std shocks. They're great build quality too and come with 3yr warranty. got mine at a good price too.
A:
what set up have you got jim? the supplier i contacted says only hight adjustable kits now avalabul!
A:
I have just purchased these.
Good price brand new off ebay
Appears to be straight from GAZ. I have not fitted them yet, hope they are not too harsh on soft.
A:
they look to be the set i looked at or from the same guy,i was going to get the whole kit with springs but may try and get the dampers and some eibach springs, what springs are you useing g60 raceing?
A:
I have Eibach springs but probably wont be fitted for another month as I need to find time.
A:
I think I got the same kit as above. Looks nice doesn't it! Got mine with some Apex springs which weren't matched well to the Vento. Running Gmax now, but given the choice again I would like to go for Eibach.
A:
well i bought the dampers and will be ordering the springs tomorow, they do look good just hope they arnt to harsh
A:
Just don't try winding the damping up too much to begin with. Then you can gradually adjust them to best match the springs. I have mine set quite low for comfort.
A:
well fitted them today, and quick road test set on 1 of 32 is like standerd dampers and i cant praise the ebach springs enough
A:
i'm led to believe that Gaz dampers are very similar in design to Leda - which bodes well for quality...
A:
Glad to hear they are comfortable, just what I wanted to hear. What they like on full hard, as I want to do some trackdays with mine.
A:
not sure mate only done a few miles as i havnt set the camber ect yet(should be doing it tomorrow)then i will start to wind them up and see what there like
