konis already been on car 2 years from mk2 gti to mk3 1.4, so wondering if i can improve my brothers stopping power by fitting mk2 gti brakes

If its a 4 stud car, the front GTI setup will fit straight on no worries. If the fronts are 239 already, I think you can just fit GTI discs & pads like you can on MK2 Drivers
