What Size is a gti front anti roll bar? Is the 8v and 16v the same?

8v & 16v are the same, 18mm rings a bell?
G60 item is 23mm if memory serves, but you need different outer links and maybe inner bushes too?

Any idea what size the standard arb on my 1.8 gl auto will be? I take it theyre thinner in diameter...
Only reason i ask is because ive got a full set of poly bushes im fitting and ive got the wishbones off and painted up in hammerite, I just wanted to know if i should fit a gti ARB while im here.

Nah its the same as a GTI one

How comes people allways go on about replacing the ARB then when doing a gti conversion?
I thought they where different sizes.

I assume because they started with a 1.6 or 1.3, only the carby cars that got the ARB were the 1.8 models
Either that or they're upgrading to a better one.
