A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Thanks for the previous help with my break problems. I have changed the pump on the ABS unit so this now runs when i power the car up.
I still have no effort in the breaks and still appear to be breaking without assistance
When i put the ignition on, without starting the engine, I find that the ABS pump runs constantly without cutting out. I think this should run up and pressurise the system before shutting off.
I think the problem could be caused by air in the system but i do not know how to blead the system through. (I know how to bleed at the wheel end but not the pump and distribution end)
Does any one kow how this is done? There is a caphead bolt under the accumulator under which i can see the oil way, I have tried putting break fluid in here and this is sucked away when i pump the break peddle but i get the same problem as explained above.
Any one have any ideas?

There is a thread here with a .pdf file of how to bleed and fault find the Teeves ABS system.

I have had a read of the linked threads, my problem is exactly the opposite to what they are all having, my peddle is like pushing down on a brick!
