what strut brace will fit my mk2 abf i have an omp 8v one doesn't look like that will fit. my mate has one on his 9a engined mk2 but it was on the car when he bought it and we can't figure out what it is. what are you lot using?

you'll struggle finding an off the shelf strut brace for a mk2 with an abf as it's a taller block.
9a is still a short block so will have no probs with a normal 16v strut brace.

I've been trying to make one myself for mine as there is bugger all room in there for a strut brace, and am convinced that off the shelf ones won't fit.
Its taking it time but when its done ill let you know with some dimensions
