Mk2 suspension into Mk3

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

My brother has just got himself some Audi RS wheels for his Mk3. problem is he's got stock suspension and it looks like he's about to go offroad.
I was thinking about upgrading from Boge turbo damps and H&R springs (35mm drop) all round to a nice set of coilovers to improve ride and handling characteristics.
Would my setup go from the Mk2 to his Mk3 OK or will there be some chronic issues, fitment / weight of the mk3 etc?
A:

they will fit physically. not sure about the spring rates etc.
I have however doen it with a set of raceland shocks/springs from a mk2 on a mk3 and it is a good ride/no problmes
A:

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I'm looking at a similar setup of Boge/H&R for my '90 8v. What was the ride quality like?

they will fit physically. not sure about the spring rates etc. That was my biggest concern. Spose as i'm going to get rid of them anyway there is no harm in trying...

Boge dampeners were a little too firm for my liking and didn't have the ride control i was after. However the H&R springs were lovely. The guy who i bought the car from had some crappy lowering springs on and i tried these along with the OEM and my H&R addition and can honestly say that the H&R's are a good buy.

Nice one. Now I just need to find a reasonable price from suppliers.

Nice one. Now I just need to find a reasonable price from suppliers. Try stealth for the H&R springs, they were the cheapest when i got mine. As for the Boge dampeners, GSF will be your best bet...

GAZ sell the same set of adjustables for the MK2 and MK3.
