Adaptors would change offset.
Don`t think you can get adaptors from 4x100 to 5x100 though.

Nope, one hole from each PCD will always want to occupy the same space. The pic below is 4 x 100 to 5 x 115.

You defintiely can get adaptors to go from 4x100 to 5x100. Dont ask me who makes them cos I forget , but they are definitely out there

Sorry, don't agree at all - i've tried to model these adaptors, and it simply isn't possible.
But by all means prove me wrong .

Hi Chris
Rim size and offset is perfect...20mm will give et23 on mk2..
The adaptors from HR are steel due to the fact that you get one wheel bolt
hole crossing over but they supply all of the bolts for the hub and the wheel
fitment...
Thats one reason I wont supply other makes.....
£210 a set of 4 inc vat and delivery....
I didnt know whether I still had these details earlier (a pm on another forum), but seeing as though you asked me to prove you wrong here you have it - happy to be proved otherwise now?
Eurotek is the company that supplied the above details to me, I'm sure he would be happy to help you for your Polo mate

nice one.
That really only proves you can write yourself an email though TBH . I wanna see a link to actual products.
Still can't see how the "one wheel bolt hole crossing over" would work. I'm sure you can let me know though.

I posted the link also but didn`t notice that particular one.
I believe they would use one existing hole through to original tapped hole to achieve it.
A:

I was having similar thoughts about 4x100 - 5x100 but my idea is to use 16" MK4
Turbo wheels on my Mk 2, H&R list a 20mm hub centric adapter to suit, can anyone tell me what the standard offset of a MK2 15" wheel is.
If its 35mm then my 20mm spacer combined with my 42mm wheel should give me an extra 13mm each side which i think is ok,
Any thoughts?
