i am currently after new dampers for my mk3 16v. after researching, gaz shocks caught my attention. i didnt want to spend silly money and wanted something that was going to last.
a couple members here can give a testimonial for the product. i personally cannot see how you can go wrong with so much adjustment, i cant wait to try it.
i have spoken to the manufacturer, i have said that i will try arranging a group buy. we will be entitled to 25% discount and they will be posted to us directly from the maker.
the lists of applications are there and the products available. if you actually want to buy, i can find out the final price for you.

Hiya, the ones I want - 1 pair part no GT6 4696 1 pair GT6 4697. I know these ones are made to order (not kept in stock) so don't know if they'll do the discount for them. They are to fit Vauxhall Magnum 2300.

this lot will do coilovers for mk2 mk3 mk4 golf and some polos too for £499.
their normal spring/adjustable damper sets are £299, including vat and postage. again, applications for mk2-3-4 golf (rado too) and some polos.

yup, for the mk2 platform. i beleive they are the new nickel body ones too. the guy had today rebuilt some 6 year old zinc ones and nothing had corroded or stuck. the nickel ones are meant to be even more durable.
the 299 includes vat and postage too.

right... just spoke to the guy i know at the manufacturer.
the kit with adjustable dampers and springs is £299 (as we know). he said that the dampers alone would be just under £200.
is £50 a corner good? fixed height, adjustable rate

Just bumping this thread for your attention Matt. The suspension sets from Rally Design including springs are £269. The coilovers are £475.
Ive been offered a brand new set of coilovers by someone for £400. Wish i had the extra cash at the moment.

I like these! I've got the zinc ones, 1 1/2 yrs old. If I had buckets of cash (and another car), I'd buy another set!
