Hows it going?
can anyone help me? Ive bought a set of Blaupunkt Speakers
for the door of my mk2 GTI...
and the conections arent the same...Do i need to cut and solder
to the connections or is there an adaptor i can buy?? what would you
reccommend?
Please help i havent a clue about car audio..

hi mate you lop off the standard connector and stip 1cm of bare speaker wire back. Then go and buy some CRIMPS that fit your speakers from halfors or wherever...
then you slot the crimps over the end of the bare wire and nip/squish/bang the connector together using whatever you have for the job...pliers or a crimping tool or vice..etc
BEFORE you do this make sure you crimp the connectors on the correct wire. i.e +ve and -ve as the crimps are different sizes.
