Navi in a mk4 GTI

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I have a mk4 1.8T with the stock head unit & in dash changer. Quite fancy whacking the Navi in to keep the stock feel. Now i am aware there are a couple of version, some of which have issues & then there is the drama of geting the black sat antenna thing on the roof. Question is : is it worth it? Or should i just buy a mk5 DSG and pay the HUGE upgrade price for colour sat nav?
A:

Go for the mk5 dude there cool systems with very few problems.
If you didnt want to go for the mk5 when i fit sat nav i hide the gps ant in the rooflineing works just as good and cant be seen. plus it should be plug and go as the golf has a speed pulse wire fitted to the power block on the iso think it is pin a.
good luck mate

i think a mk5 would be a great purchase.
But i dont think the audio system should be the deciding factor!

interesting views!
I think I may keep an eye out for a Navi and give it a go. There are two versions from what i can see. Are they wildly different?
