Q:
the heated seats in my mk4 tdi have stopped working,winter is coming and i need to fix them. have checked the fuse at side of dash and thats ok, have disconnected the plugs from the seat measured the voltage one pin has 5v on the rest are dead, when the switch on dash is turned the 5v varies so think switch is ok. both seats have stopped working at same time..(when engine fell out! ,dont ask).
i assume there is a common relay or ecu that controls them but dont know where to start checking for power. cheers in anticipation
