A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Hi, has anyone got some sugestions why the driver side indicator lights do not work, we have checked the fuses and bulbs and they are okay. We have just purchased the car and hope to get most jobs done ourselves before MOT.
A:
try replacing the relay, hazard switch, and the indicator stalk. If its a later MK2 the hazard switch & indicator stalk will be combined
A:
I've got the same problem (later MK2) - the hazard & indicator stalk both give front right no worky but I dont get fast winking on hazards (like when using indicate)?
If 2 out of 3 indicators (on the right) work, could it be the switch?
A:
The hazard lights will still operate at the correct rate even if a bulb is blown/not making contact. The indicators will flash rapidly if a bulb is blown.
Check the front indicators; I've had real problems getting the bulbs to make good electrical contact: kinda have to twist them in then back again...fiddle with the bulb with the indicator flashing until it works, then crew the lens cover on with it still flashing to make sure you don't upset it.
If 2 out of 3 indicators (on the right) work, could it be the switch?
. I would suspect this is the bulb, as if it were the switch all would not work as there's onlt one contact for the 3 bulbs on each side IIRC.
