Golf GTi Snapped Door Wiring

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone's well. Just wanted to find out if anyone knows what the best way to fix snapped door wiring?
The rear drivers side door electrics don't work on my 1995 Golf, I had a look in the rubber cover that protects the wiring and found that the electric wiring that runs to the window and speaker has snapped in half. I've tried resoldering and crimping but the same thing keeps happening.
Anyone know of a good way to fix this or if there are wiring kits I can buy.
Any help would be appreciated!
Many Thanks
Katt

The same thing happened to mine, I resoldered and crimped, and bound it all with electrical tape, and it worked fine for me. I had a mate help me as it is a fiddly job that requires at least 3/4 hands.

You could solder an extra inch of wiring into the loom if it is a bit tight?
A:

dont solder them back together, get some proper heat shrinks on them and as mentioned above if its to tight get a bit more wire in there

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your replies. I'm gonna give it another try, I'll put some more cable in though as the wires are a bit tight in there
Thanks again!
