hi well my corrado vr6 is still playing up when it starts or it could just be me does everyone elses corrado take a long time to start up when its cold?
so far vw have put new plugs and ht leads and that didn't work and now a new temperature sensor today which has done nothing i am starting to wonder if there is anyhting i can do because vw say there is nothing wrong with it according to there tests. i don't know whats next and they want it for a few days now. anything anyone can think of to make it start better? it just takes ages to fire up usually about 10 secs. any help is a great

Hi Tim,
Mine used to do that, It did it for all the time I owned it (5 years) with no other problems!, I was also told that there was nothing wrong by specialists.

so probably just the way it will always be then the only thing left to replace is the coil maybe i should give up and except it. it has never not started just makes me wonder some mornings lol

When you turn it over does the engine crank very fast or is the cranking lazy?? Could just be in need of a new battery.

it had a new one a year ago it turns over fine just won't fire up i thought it was fludding cus of the smell of petrol when it starts but that should be fixed by having the temperature sender done. well its booked back in but i gotta wait till 15th of november i hope they find the problem soon running outta money fast. lol
