A&Q about 350Z
Q:
It seems there's a plug missing from my VR6 transplant engine - the 2pin intake air temp sensor one. I've checked several wiring diagrams and throughout the range the wires are coloured blue/green and brown/grey. Blue/green should go back to the 42pin engine connector, brown/grey to an earth . Thing is, I've pulled the thing out and double checked, mine has no snapped wires and everything seems present and correct. Now I'm just cnfused, where the hell has this plug gone? Everything's running fine, but Bentley says the ECU will adjust timing etc based on a constant inlet temp of 20degs.
Can anyone with a VR6, please check their intake temp sensor (located on right hand side of inlet mani at the front of the engine), and let me know what colour plug and wires run to it.
Cheers

Mine has a black plug and sensor and looks like blue/brown and blue/green. Tis a bit dark now so wasn't quite sure on blue/green. Can check tomorrow.
Oh and mines a OBD2

Thanks for your help - turned out my plug wiring was brown/grey and blue/red (not blu/grn as per wiring diagrams), so I had the plug going to the wrong location. Annoying, my loom seems to have been made out of random cable colours
