Good evening guys and girls,
just a bit of info if your doing a 20vT conversion and droping the power steering.
i've been trapsing round motor factors for a belt and after alot of agro i have found 1.
The belt you will need to take the pas pump off your turbo engine is a Mk4 Pol (6N) 1.9 SDI alt belt.
hope this will help some people and save them some time of finding the belt.

do you know the lenght by any chance?

Get one from Halfords, can't remember the length think it's about 965mm, i'll check when i'm home next.

can you not keep the pas from the donor car?

the belt is 37inchs. but if you quote to the motor factors a polo 6n mk4 1.9 SDI from 95-99 the belt will fit straight on with no problems.
you could use the pas for the donor with alot of playing but if you have pas on your car you can keep the standard pump and put the mk4 20vT pulley on.
