Yeah, its running okay, just the clutch is now on its way out and have no idea where i could book it in to get it done. Stealth is booked up for months

i changed mine on the rocco, took 4 hours on my own, and i started it at midnight!!!!! true story

Im not a mechanic but i am quite practical. Do i need to hoist the whole engine out and split the box or what??? Really need to get it sorted because i know its gonna fail on me going to work or something!!

well in not too sure on a mk3. but i chocked the engine, dropped the driveshafts from the hubs then droped the box off the engine its not bad once u get into it. :) id mark up the flywheel just so its easyer to line up the locating dowels when it goes back on.

did the clutch on my old mk3 8v my self last year. not a mechanic my self but it wasnt too hard really. i did the same, chocked the engine, dropped the shafts and hubs then the box.
