A&Q about 350Z
Q:
Pretty sure theres something up with mine.
Got rebuilt tall block, big valve head (tsr), flowed manifolds, etc, etc.
Only managed 140@5400 and 144@4800 at stealth. Got my suspicions about the cam but not going to point fingers at persons who aren't around to defend themselves anymore.
A:
well engine finally run in
running :
BVH / 276 newman cam / 2L block (2 e )/ standard ported manifold /2.25 " custom exhaust / cone filter / chip (off e-bay ).
had it flatout racing civic v-tech.
5th gear was @6500 rpm and speedo was way off the 120 mph mark.
what a differant car to drive still got 50 shot nitrous to come.

With TSR no longer around, where else can you get hold of the blanking plate for the breather? I have seen pics of the 2E blocks with the breather on and it seems that if you take the breather off the block, you will be left with 2 holes, the other being in line with No.2 piston on the block, can this simply be plugged with a core plu or is there another trick to this?
Also, the larger exhaust valves (35mm?), are they standard from any other vehicles in the VAG range? (just to make it easier to try and purchase the correct parts...)
