just in the process of fitting a 20v turbo into my mk1 caddy and was wondering what radiator hoses are best to use for the top and bottom hose? i,m using a 16v rad with both pipes on the same side........................

from reading around the original pipes should fit on to the 20v block,
offer them up and see if you have them to hand.

The 16v rad uses 32mm ID hoses and the 20v block needs 35m ID hoses, the 16v ones will fit with a little persuasion, or you could buy some silicon pipes and make up your own which will fit better. I used for my bits of hose.
