A&Q about 350Z
Q:
in the middle of a 9a conversion, under the air filter box there is a small container with an air connection to an air valve mounted on the side of the metering head , and from this container there is another connection witch runs to the rear of the car with the fuel lines. what is this connection for and do i need to instal it into my mk1.
thanks.
A:
It sounds like a charcoal filter or a little airbox for one at the back of the car. Basically, its an emissions piece of equipment which prevents petrol which evaporates from the tank, getting into the air. You can safely ditch it on a Mk1.
