can any one tell me what i need to do a 2.0l bottom end swap on my 1986 golf gti 8v its a k-jet dose this make it any easyer the engine is out of a audi 80 2.0e and its free

if i remember rightly the audi is short (bubble) block so its the same height as the old block which is easier. you need a converted intermedate shaft to take your dizzy and a blanking plate for the oil breather on the block or just use a filter on the breather. use your old head and stuff. what condition is the block in if its free?
