Allen key screw adjustment / air flow meter

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Just picked up a s/h afm for me mk3 8v 2E engine gti.
It has the same part No. but mine ends in a 301 C but the one ive picked up
just says 301.
Electrically it appears the same with resistance values etc.
Its got the allen key adjustment screw for the mixture, dont think mine has.
Hows the best way to deal with this when changing them over?
A:

Yours sounds like a Mk2 version. I would try just leaving it as it's set at the minute, and allowing the lambda sensor to take care of the rest?
A:

Ok sounds like a plan..
Guess all the allen screw will do is let more or less air through on idle?
Cant see it doing anything else.
So the mark 2 afm's didnt have a allen screw adjustment either?
cheers
A:

my mk2 has the allen key adjuster its for the co adjustment
A:

All Mk2's have an allen key adjustment - but they didn't have a lambda probe to "readjust" any mixture faults, which the Mk3 does. Worth a shot, anyway.....
A:

Ive got it as spare anyway as mines worn bad in one area on the track.
The s/h one was apparently from a mk3 which is why i brought it..
