Hey everyone, first post, always been intrested in gti's, just been lookin for the right one. Just curious what can i do to a 97, with a non turbo to mess with it. I found a 97 with 65k on it, body and interior is in immaculate shape, going to look tommorow. Is it possible to add a turbo to a non turbo, or am i better off just swapping the whole thing out? ANY IDEAS for this new baby would be appreciated. Thanks for any help.

is it a mk3 model? need to know exactly what engine you have mate

He might do aye, but I still reckon you'd struggle with a '97 20VT.

Yeah its just a 4 non turbo, not a vr6 or 1.8. Anyways, sorry it probably sounds stupid, just want to know more before i purchase my future baby. What about as far as swapping it out, what kind of options do i have, and what am i lookin at for cost? Other than that just curious of what kind of options i have to build up the car. THanks for all your feedback.
