20v Turbo Wiring

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

I have a Mark1 Cabriolet which now has a Mark3 ADY 2.0 8v GTI engine. I have also fitted a Mark3 dash in the car and because of this I have used the complete Mark3 wiring loom and the engine uses the standard ECU. If I fitted the 20v turbo, what wiring should I use now that my car has Mark3 wiring. Would I be able to use the standard 20v turbo ECU now I have the Mark3 wiring and fusebox? The car has the standard Mark3 gearbox, 020 and I have the 100mm driveshafts. I assume this would be okay.

When you swapped the Mk3 dash in did you use the complete wiring harness (ie CE2)?? If so then that will make things a LOT easier.
I would do everything you could to swap in something better than an 020, at OE power levels the 020 is at its limits...if you were to chip the 20v or upgrade the power in any way the 020 is almost like a ticking time bomb. Even money spent on an LSD or better gears will not make the 020 a good choice.

Depends what functions you want to work really ?
- if you just want the engine to work and use you existing clocks then than cool as you have done it so far, not sure how you get the RPM feed working but i am sure its possible, may just be one wire .
- If you want the 20vt MFA and clocks and stalks and keys to work from the 20vt then its more tricky
