A&Q about 350Z
Q:
What should I expect to pay for a rebore of a MKII 1.8 to 1870?
Which piston rings will i need for the 83mm pistons? and what should they cost?
Thanks
A:
just go and get a 2.0 out of an audi can't remember the engine code and rebuild that it'll be a hole lot easier
A:
yeah but no but yeah but no
I already have the pistons and the inclination. A 2 litre block is likely to cause clearance issues in my syncro (apart from the 3A)
Anyone else?
A:
Pistons should come complete with rings and gudgeon pins, get a few quotes as prices vary quite a bit. Rebore should be £20-25 a pot. The Audi 2L 3A is rare beast now and the pistons are nearly £500 if you need them!!

I know the feeling of expensive pistons :-( when i had my 6A looked at it needed to be bored out slightly and the new pistons were 400 od quid for the set!!!!

Really?
****. I've got a 3a sat in my garage awaiting a rebuild.. It has no history so I was going to budget for new pistons too.
