Hi All
I have an 89 Mk2 Golf GTI 16v, an im looking to upgrade my exhaust system.
Manifold, centre sections, and backbox.
I looking for a stainless steel system, that is not as loud as 747 on take-off and has a rear box and tail pipes which look tastefull.
Any ideas or information will help me greatly

i have a custom made powerflow system u can tailer this to be how loud you want etc. i went for the quite, suttle system

I like the idea of the Jetex, Miltek, and Supersprint options.
I looked into the Supersprint Manifold, downpipes and back box. I was told that Supersprint do not manufacture manifolds for right hand drive MK2 16v Golf Gti's, an mine has PAS so its even harder to fit.
Also they stopped production of the twin oval pipes, and only produce twin 3"round pipes for my 16v. I have no idea how these would look on the Golf, and Im worried they may ruining the look of the car.
Im going to look into the other systems this weekend, so if anyone has any pics or ideas of what I should opt for I would like to hear your comments.

I looked into both the Miltek and Jetex systems over the weekend but im still undicided to what each would look like on the car.
Does anyone have any pics of these systems on their Golfs? Or any other suggestions.

I have got the Militek 4 branch and straight through system. The noise at full throttle makes me do a sex wee
And this is the powerflow exhaust and my old valver, which made a totally different noise to my militek one and my newest valver. I prefer the militek, but my friend prefers the powerflow. Personal preference I suppose.
Maybe I could take a video of the car so you get an idea of the sound? If some other people could do the same might give you more of an idea. Either that or get to a local meet and get to hear the options up close!

I have a scorpion DTM job on mine which was there when I bought it and it's uber loud on idle but not too bad when cruising funnily enough.Although I would go for summit else if I had the choice!!!
