hi all, don't know if i should put this here or in the electrical section. My just out of guarantee starter motor has given up the ghost and my spare in the garage is duff.
i'm now reluctant to get a new reconditioned one again as it didn't give me a great deal of service so wondered if there is a starter motor on a newer vw/audi/seat that could be utilised and i can go to a breakers for it.
also wondered how i can identify a 90amp alternator as well as i may as well get both parts and blag a good deal. any info gratefully received because i'm driving my dads rice burner at the min and its so soul less i could cry (lot comfier than the coilovered golf tho)
