Ive been looking for a used AFM to try in the car.
Whats other cars out there use the same part, VW or other?
This is for a 92 mk3 8V GTI, digifant system. Mines a bosch 037 906 301C.
Not many scappys round here have much VW, not mk3's anyway.

Does anyone know what resistance should be measured as you progress through the AFM range?
I think if i recall correctly i start of somewhere between 500 and 1000ohms at rest, it then increases then starts going back down again as its opening right up if that sounds correct?
Also how much resistance should the flap be against the spring?
I know thats a really hard question to get a straight answer, but im not sure if mines opening correctly against the air flow if you see what i mean?!
l'll re-measure better if someone knows what values i should get.
The service data for testing is a bit vague, the air tempreture makes sense but when it comes to the AFM it just says 'value should fluctuate'
