Hello everyone
I just bought a 98 Golf GTI 2.0 8V but have noticed that when I turn the engine on the rev counter starts at 10 instead of 0 zero... is this correct or is this a problem?

do you mean it is running on 10 when the engine is running or just the ignition is on

Is that not just the idle speed?

if its at 10 when the engine is running, that is the engine idle, if it was at 0 then the engine wouldnt be running
