Hi all,
When I had my MOT the garage said my lower main oil seal was gone... So over the last few days I've gone on the mission to renew it...
Now its running again the leak is still there!!!
What else could it be??? Sump gasket?
The oil is dripping from the little flywheel cover you bolt on between the gearbox and the sump.

are you sure its engine oil & not gearbox oil?

Aye... I had to take the box off to put the new lower main oil seal in and it was fine...

hmm, maybe your crank has alot of play in it
Either that or a rubbish oil seal... Maybe its oil squirting out of the sump or seal on that side?

Aye I'm hoping it's the sump gasket... There's a crappy paper one on at the moment so I'm gonna put a rubber one on tomorrow...
If it's still leaking then I've got no idea..
