Can anybody tell me if they have fitted a chip to a Mark3 Golf 2.0l 8v AGG engine. I sent an email to Blitzchips who told me that the ECU is unchipable, but according to the Superchips website there is one. Can anybody clarify this?

My memory is a little rusty, but from what I remember, there are two ways of "chipping" it - one is by directly replacing the chip in the ECU, and the other is by piggy backing a chip onto the ECU (it goes in between the ECU and its connector).
The AGG's ECU may not be able to be chipped directly, which is probably why Blitzchips says no, and Superchips say yes if they use the latter method.
