A&Q about 350Z
Q:
I have had this idle problem for quite a long time---fast idle with Air Stabilizer Connected. THe only soltion I have found is to unplug the Air stabilizer valve. In reading the other posting, it would seem that the idle switch is not working. This throttle body has no mechanical switches on top. It does have a black box (adjustable) on the bottom of the the throttle body. I am assuming this is the problem. Is there an adjustment procedure? Or a way to check that this electronic switch is working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What injection system is it, k-jet or digifant? It sounds like a k-jet, I think there is a throttle switch. If so, make sure it clicks when the throttle is closed, if not it needs adjusting in a little bit

The injection system is a Digifant II.

Ok digifant has 2 throttle switches, an idle switch underneath, and a wide open throttle switch on top.
Check the idle switch clicks when the throttle is closed, and that the throttle is hitting the stop (check the throttle cable isn't too tight)
If the throttle switch is not clicking, undo the 2 screws holding it in place and move it untill it clicks, then tighten the screws. Double check the switch is working by opening the throttle a few times, if it clicks, all is well

check the wiring to the plug on the top of the engine, mine had both wires broken altho they didnt look damaged at all, it caused al sorts of bizzare idling problems
