A&Q about 350Z
Q: Open to any engine. Best BHP gain per £££££ A: On a Mk2 16v - 2 litre bottom end in my opinion, cheap and cheerful if you source and fit the parts yourself A: Experience & Practice!!!! A: I will second what stu has said A: on something 1.8T - remapping A: VR6 - Decat.... without a doubt A: onthe abf... getting the vacs and fuel pressure reg sorted. decat was good too, but they all make small gains that have added up to a monumental gain. A: Drilled Airbox.............MEGA power gains!!!!! A: hahaha mk2 valver vinces WUR mod 13 bhp £50 rolling road proven other than that defo the airbox drillin lol A: i expect that it will be my electronic digital supercharger i asked the guy when if fitting two of these would give me 40bhp A: Ahh, just wack a turbo on it! A: Nitrous - no more bhp per £ than I can think of WON kits only though!! A: ahh my 8v vernier adjustable pulley, cost £30 new (Kent) and got me a good BHP increase on the rollers. useful things A: Drilled Airbox.............MEGA power gains!!!!! not really, just more noise. A: Reeled you in there mate......... A: Reeled you in there mate......... yeah A: VR6...... cold air intake under inner wing with oversize intake pipe and reducer just before MAF A: whats the logic behind the reducer just before the maf? ive heard about this sorta thing but not understood it A: my best performance mod per £££ on my MK3 Golf GTI 8v was selling it and buying a fast car in the first place. True story. There's nothing you can do within reasonable cost to improve the performance of that engine, so don't bother in the first place is my advice! A: Jabba remap on my A3 1.8T Quattro (£427.50 on a vag20v.net group buy). My Mk1 golf had a tune up for £60 after sitting around for 3yrs. Ran like a bag of spanners, now I love it! Is a bit of a shocker when I swap cars though. Think the Mk1 needs a turbo! A: Mk1 700 extra CC and flowed head. Mk2 1.3 flowed head. A: gti cam for my driver, innit! A: Regular services with oil change using TSC's ATF fluid run in the oil for a week plus his water in the vacumm technique. Not a performance mod but helped make the car run a heck lot smoother! A: Regular services with oil change using TSC's ATF fluid run in the oil for a week plus his water in the vacumm technique. Not a performance mod but helped make the car run a heck lot smoother! Did you ever try his "Grinding paste in the oil" trick? no hang on, that's what he does to people he doesn't like, it's not a performance mod.... Best performance mod on my 8v was decatting it. Didn't make much diff but it made a bit A: onthe abf... getting the vacs and fuel pressure reg sorted. decat was good too, but they all make small gains that have added up to a monumental gain. Just out of curiosity Matt, what exactly are these mods? Where would i need to go to get this done? Cheers |
