Oil Pump????

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

Hi lads.
Recently i have had higher oil temperratures than normal. They used to be around mid 90's now they are levelling anywhere around 106-112 c.
Also i have had a noiser top end than normal. Tappets take longer to quieten down in the morning. Could this be caused by a buggered oil pump. Im guessing that if the pump doesnt pump fast enough the oil pressure wont be high enough to hold the oil in the top part of the engine making it slightly noisier. Also the oil will flow slower round the engine and therefore not through the filter housing/cooler as fast meaning it doesnt get cooled as well as it should do. the oil temps also jump when they get into high figures. From 106 -112 for example? Just becuase the sensor isnt as accurate at high temps???? Or maybe a shagged sensor aswell?
Anyone help with my problem?
Thnx in advance for your answers.

If your oil pressure is low then you should get the annoying buzzer going off. In my old mk2 valver I used to get this especially when caning it for a while, then slowing down to a sedate cruise before the end of the journey. 30 seconds after I'd slowed down the buzzer was going mental. Replacing the oil pump solved the issue.
A:

Mmm never heard the buzzer. might borrow a gauge off someone to check.

**** worth a clean then

Might just do this. Im slowly getting there building up all the parts for my 2l 16v so may aswell just do a clean up instead of replacing the pump. Engine wont be in for much longer anyway. So he says and has been for the last 2 yrs
A:

hmmm i want to do that clean up now, ive got 152k miles on mine.
how hard is it to get the pump off? how worthwhile is it to do it on an abf?
what is that crud?
A:

worthwhile doing on any car i would imagine.
Also ever since i fitted this newer altenator i had lying around i noticed that the voltage running through the car fluctuated slighty making the dials and lights etc get brighter and dimmer. Would a fluctuating voltage cause innaccurate readings from the temp sensors etc?

Carbon deposits. It is amazing how much cr@p is in an engine despite regular oil changes etc.
Take off sump,pump lifts out.
New sump gasket and replace sump.
A:

yeah its only two 13mm bolts holding it in.
