Hi all
i am quite sure it will but wanted too make sure so....
will an audi a4 1.8t engine out of a 1995 a4 fit my mk2 golf. If so is there any known problems with the conversion. is the enigne a good engine or does it have limitatins weaknesses??
any help would be great

why not get the s3 , tt or a4 quattro engines as they are more powerful ??

because i have a really small budget and have came across an engine which i may be able too get for a very reasonable price!!
if i could i would buy a tt engine for her but they are way over my budget at this present time

transverse or longitudinal? you may have to switch the sump a la the 2l bottom end swap from an audi "longi" (2e?)

The A4 engine sits the other way, you will have to get hold of different manifolds for a start.

I put an A4 engine in mine and it was a real pain not to be recomended unless you want serious fun!!
