Hi guys/gals
anyone running emerald management on their mk2 20vt?
what the general opionion's on this system? i've heard things bout it having cold start probs? any truth in this?
some info and comments from peeps who have had first hand experience of using emeraldon a mk2 20vt would be appriciated.

well not your application and this isnt a criticism of emerald but i purchased one to run my mk1 abf engine. im no electrician but after many emails to emerald and many recieved i finally got it wired up but no spark. more emails still no spark and im now stuck. £ 600 worth of engine manage ment that i can do nothing with. im now thinking of going back to k-jet.

i thought about megasquirt before i got emerald but decided i would never get that wired up. as to selling i think im going to have to persevere a bit longer before i smash it with a hammer.

Ask Dave Walker to recommend someone to trouble shoot it for you. I spoke with him some time ago and he mentioned someone called Andrew Bradley from BTEC motorsport who can do that sort of thing.

Been there a few times with that. Only hurts more when you discovered the fault was minute as you weep over you mangled bits
