More Answers Needed Again 26/10

A&Q about 350Z
Q:

hi, posted a thread last nigth about my very bad idleing, just had another good look at the car and relised there is one wire missing on one of the terminals to the ignition coil but i cant find any wires to connect to it there is nothing at all, could this be the answer to my bad idleing.
also yesterday i fitted a new temp sender (the blue one) because every time i unplug it, it idle's at 1000 which is alot better because today it is running at 3000 revs does anyone know why this could be.
i need all the help i can get.
Cheers

There isn't a missing wire, there will be an empty space on the coil. If you were having problems with the coil the car most likely wouldn't start.

but i found a connecter on the terminal just with no wire on it. its the middle teminal. i have a old coil which i took out of my old golf and it still has the wires on it including the middle one, plus i tried ringing vw in watford for the throttle switch and they have never heard of it i also tried gsf and euro car parts but no one knows what im going about. would you know any thing about that temp sender.
cheers for the help so far.
A:

Hmmm. thats odd. Throttle switch definately exists! The blue temp sender sends a temperature signal to the ecu to tell it how much fuel to push in at certain temperatures. I work at the ruislip branch (parts) but am not in til monday so can't get a part number and price til then.

oh you must be del's mate, the one with the mk2 turbo he got of bhupinder.
so why does the revs drop when i un plug the temp sender and then go sky high when i pug it in,also is it safe to drive it without it plugged in, sorry about all the questions.
A:

Yeah thats me, The fuelling might be out if you drive it with the sensor disconnected, but should be ok - why its doing that when you disconnect it? - I'm stumped on that one!

cheers, i will post a thread on that question to see if anyone has had this problem.
