Dont think theres any offical guide, but heres a few common pointers generally on mk4s:
Water pumps, throttle body housing, MAF, coil packs, brake light switches, ARB links, window regulators, temp sender, cambelt change at right interval.
model above appears good on face of it
Check it for accident damage, finance, new mot and FSH.

not stopped looking at mk3 s all weekend then i saw this one for that little and just had to phone him says its just a stop gap while he waited for his new motor ? may be full of poo but may just be one of those once in a blue moon good deals
