worth the few etc pence when filling up?
would i see any benefit eg MPG on my 1.1c golf
i know it is not going to make it a rocket ship, in the past the GTI has run on it and has shown to improve the mpg by a few miles...
would the higher octane/additive clean the insides for me too?

I run only Tesco 99RON Super in my MK2 GTi as it runs alot smoother on it. Wouldn't make any difference on the mgp as yours is carb isn't it?, therefore your timing isn't advanced or retarded whilst the engine is running.
It will however clean your internals better removing any carbon deposits. It takes around 3-5 full tanks to be most effective.

you could advance the timing a little more as super will allow it to run without pinking....nit sure you see alot more power form a 1.1 though

i know it wasn't got to make the car run like it was on nitro just wondered of any other benefits,
might give it a whirl for a tank.
i get 300 from a tank currently.
