ok long story my rado vr6 is being a pain it has lost power its missfiring and takes ages to turn over took it to vw first change the plugs and leads done nothing now temperature sender done nothing took it on a rolling road they said it was missfireing and low fueling on mid throttle suspected injoctors took it back to vw first they said it was a injector leeking well now they have said its a new set of injectors possably they price they have given me is 1200 to have it fixed i have just been to a mate who works for a different guarage and the michanic there said to test it with the computer see whats wrong he doesn't think it is the injectors cus apparently they are so simple and if one doesn't work its obveous anyone else had there problems i don't know what to do now.

coil packs seem quite common on those.
my abf had a 'running lean' problem, making the ecu knock back the timing.
it was a fuel pressure reg. find and inspect the vac that leads to that. maybe spray some wd40 in there to lube it up.

right when you put your foot down it goes really flat at times not all the time anyway but it sort of jercs befor getting smooth i think thats the low fueling it just doesn't pull as much, starting is only when its cold when its hot it fires up usually on its first turn over were as it takes about 10 seconds to fire up when cold it seems ok turning over i thought it could be the coils but because i was told it was the injectors i thought that because it isn't getting enough fuel it isn't firing up. hope that helps more
