I have a mk2 GTI 8v. 1991 on a H plate.
When I came to start it this morning It ran really lumpy (thought it was going to stall). After about 1 minute it ran fine
Any ideas

Coolant temp sensor or ISV wouldbe a start.

can hear the ISV buzzing when turn on the igntion.

Doesn't mean it's working properly tho. I'd go get a cheap GSF CTS, try it and if it solves the problem then get a VW one. If not, then look elsewhere, like the ISV cleaning etc.......
