A&Q about 350Z
Q:
just looking into possibilities really, at the moment i have a full Garrett GT30R turbo setup waiting to go on my mk4 20vt, thing is the car will wnat a rebuild before it goes on otherwise it'll just end up being an expensive firework.
So when its rebuilt i'll be using all new forged rods and pistons ect, so i thought i may as well look in to increasing the cc of the engine, ive had a look for other threads but info's a bit thin on the ground.
what exactly would i need to build a 2.0 20vt? machining bits isnt a problem, i just need to know exactly what i need and whats involved.
Thanks in advance

think boreing the block to 2ltr may cause weakness as a lot of people hunting for big power seem to bore to 1900cc
might be worth dropping Badger5 (bill brockbank) a PM as he's running insane power and a huge turbo!
A:
9a crank, rods and JE pistons
A:
optional eurospec 2ltr crank which is lighter than stock 20vt one for 2ltr
I run 83mm for 1900cc on stock crank.

someone on swdubs has a 1.9 20vt iirc - might be of help
A:
i take it grant motorsport owes Bill money then
so, 1.9 is the easiest way to go then? in the form of an overbore and new pistons/rods? do i need to change the crank to?
could i not use a 1.9tdi block for the 2.0 option? or am i being stupid?
Basically im after faster spool up on the GT30R so if a 1.9 will achieve that and its easier i'll go with that
A:
i have a new set of 83mm JE pistons floating around , if your interested
A:
i most certainly would
